Does this new event replace the old persian events or is it something additional? If it is a replacement, then earning GP's just got significantly harder.

I don't think this tournament is completely new - I remember something similar a few months back. With regard to gps, yes it looks harder to get compared to normal Persian quests but, for example, I defeated a level 37 position and got 130 points - which is a lot more than for a normal Persian quest where I might have got about 50 equivalent points.

i earn 1100 point, and i lose 600k offensive and 400k defensive at lvl 30-40 persians, while in old time i only need 200k offensive to reach 100 gp and 400 drachma while now it 4x the value and stuck at 250 drachma....i would like to have the old1 because were not freedom fighter like those crazy player that can earn 50k point within 1hr....

Just because this new stupid event, im losing my idea on drawing and not in mood doing them lately because my city is dead city...all my troops dead, and the persians position liberated unit given are very very stupid low

I played this game for many months with much pleasure, but the new Persian Quest RIP OFF AND the fact that I haven't been able to download the game all day long have turned me off completely. I have money invested in here and can't even play. No wonder people are leaving in droves.

Before you could get the 100 Gp's relatively easy compared with this new version. Plarium is really sabotaging its own game, go figure!

Plarium intends for the global tournament to replace both PVP quests and Global quests to streamline technical implementation.

Yes, the new global tournament has made GPs more difficult to earn; however, drachma rewards have been significantly increased from 400 to 3100 max. In addition, the drachma rewards for top rankings have expanded from the top 30 or 50 to the top 100. With that in mind, post here if you have any further complaints.

I am a few days shy of logging in for 7 months without missing a day, and I play several hours each day. While some of the changes that have occurred were sincere attempts at making the game better, this change is not in that category. Like the others here have already mentioned, the primary purpose of the Persian Positions was for players to obtain the much needed GP's. It also allowed players to obtain troops they could not make yet. This new approach is a total and unequivocal mistake. I, like many others waited for the global quest to come every two weeks in order to obtain the much needed GP"s, and now with the metric you are using, it will take months to advance, and if like the moderator said, that this is also going to take the place of PVP then it is a worse disaster than I thought. Not only that, you better have a pocket full of drachma to revive your troops. Some have mentioned that the other rewards are better than before, but one used to be able to fight five or six positions, gain their GP's and quit if they chose until the next quest came up. In fairness, I used to gain my GP's and stop, so I am not sure what playing further would have brought me. Now, I can make most of my own troops, but in the over fifty positions I played, I received troops four times and they were not in great amounts. I played the last two days just to see if I was mistaken and this would turn out to be a good thing, but I can tell you that it has not and I will not play them again after this. I have spent money here like others and have enjoyed the game very much, and with patience I was able to progress nicely, but that will be difficult under the present configuration. Also, if this global quest is truly replacing the PVP, I will have to exist with what I can make now and hope for a return to a configuration that allows me to move ahead. The others here have made other valid arguments also with regard to this change. I hope you reconsider.

Archons, I went through this thread, and I am thankful to you for posting your concerns there.

Erich Bortney and Damir - you are correct, usual PvP and Global quests are replaced by the Tournaments.

In fact, this is a new modified type of the global quest. From now on there will be no separate PvPs as they will be included into the Tournaments (plus various types of missions which can run consequently or parallel).

Archon Gengske, it is harder now to get GPs, indeed. However Tournaments and events inside them will be more frequent, so you will have more chances to gain rewards, so the lack of GPs will be gradually neutralized.

Pls plariym bring back the PVP and Percian Global quest that is our favourit and its easy to get resorces,gps and dracmers from them this tournment is difficult to achieve desired objective and GP'S in the game so pls reconsider on bringing back the PVP quest and Global percian quest so that we can enjoy the game again

The only problem with tournaments is readability is poor.

The figures on the right part are difficult to understand, especially the large ones to the right : what do they mean ?

It really uneasy to be sure where we currently are and how many points are needed to unlock the next step.

People need to move on and accept the new tournaments. Overall, I think they are an improvement as you get a wider range of rewards. The PvP tournament is much better as it is easier to progress compared to the 4 stages of the previous version.

With regard to readability of the scoring as mentioned by thatbloke, it is confusing at first but clearly shows your progress once you understand it. The numbers on the far right show the number of rewards left, and the scoring shows the next 3 stages you can win and the points needed for each.
