Great only the massive RL Money Player earned the Drachmen Rewards in this Events.
The low Levels, and the Players was dont waste Money and Creditcards get nothing.

this will surely be nice for the coiners to get some free drachma but for all the others this tournament is an epic fail from plariums side....
i also expected special drachma offers to pop up being even better then normal offers for this anniversary ?

yes i like it, so i can take a break and not enter any tournaments for two weeks, yes.
i want units, not drachma, not even worth it trying to compete for small bit of drachma, remove these tournaments and bring normal tournaments back.

lets try and let people waste their army and hopefully money before summer starts when people will quit massivly lol. Summer is ideal time to not return to a game that tries to rip u off all the time lol.

I was so excited to see these 2 events, I didn't even look at the rewards. I just though Plarium would reward me for my solid 1 1/2 years I have sunk into this game. Didn't believe my mate when he said only the top 250 get......so.......the top 250 coiners will be getting more rewards....great.
Not sure if it's the plan, but every 'upgrade' they do it seems to become more and more pay to win.
Read a review once saying that there was an element of pay to win...would love to get that chop playing again to write another review.
I have logged on almost everyday since i started, currently on a 110 days streak. And when I say log on, I log on to raid, build and pack troops away.
Level 74, build queues hardly ever empty yet I'm still lagging behind...NOT because I don't PLAY.....but because I don't PAY.
It's just extremely demotivating, PLAYING 4-8 hours a day for 1 1/2 years and someone can come along and PAY and wipe me out within weeks of starting.
The PLAYERS rely on those events, but then again we also relied on the PP's and they changed that so that you lost more than you gain.
I think if this carries on, there'll just be PAYERS and not PLAYERS, then we'll see how long it takes them to get bored and just find the next game..they forget we come from other games...if we left them we can leave this one.you should make also raiding event with 250k drachmas for first place or sieging event etc....
as mentioned these 2 tournaments looking great but will go to most wealthy who will lose much more then they get back even with 250k drachmas

This Tournament is for all players, but I agree that low-level players can hardly compete with others.
However, it's a special Tournament, with a special reward. And if you feel that you're not strong enough to participate in it, you can participate in ordinary Tournaments which are running each day.
Moreover, we gave free rewards to all players, and we have started a giveaway for all Forum members.
And it's just the beginning of the month
these tournaments are not for the big levels, but only for those who want to spend a lot of money to build their own troops.

I will just add my voice to the others here... these events are not rewards for players but money grabs for Plarium...
After one day the poor smuck holding position 250 and set to win 1200 Drachmas had collected 8000 points!! He will have to sustain this crazy spending pace for 14 more days to collect a reward that Plarium will sell me for less than $1 (Current offer 9750 Drachmas for $4.99)
These tourneys are a total fail and spitting in the face of 1000s of regular Sparta players.
Our entire coalition is taking a break from the game for 2 weeks as a silent protest against these lousy Plarium events. We are not going to sacrifice our units so some free spending coiner can add to his score.

That Persian Tourney is utterly impressive. Level 130-140 Persian positions pay around 12-15k pvp and the leader board has absolutely stunning points so far. The amounts of army's being thrown around is staggering, maybe 10's of thousand of dollars coined on some accounts.but from positions you get nearly most of it back, unlike PvP. so you can cycle all day long
Its certainly cheaper to buy the coin rather than try win it. :) would have been decent if they added in a minimum x 2 bonus in there or champs/units. maybe even give mp and macs instead of regular troop rewards :) but, justas a pure coin event, considering the timescale which it runs, it's an awful event.
Chalk me up as another who hates this stupid attempt at an anniversary event and was ready for it to be over about 4 and a half minutes after it began. Such a waste of time.
I'm not participating either and using this chance to build up troops.
Sorry Plarium, this was not a good idea for us game-players. Good for your bottom line maybe, but not for us.

I understand as community manager you ahve to save "playrum backs" but seriously, as player you can see they are failing lately to keep players happy...
also you say that we still ahve the normal tournaments, yes of course, but here we talk about the tournaments for the anniversary, the other ones as they are as you said ordinary, should not be mixed in the ecuation, with all respect.
I'm on the same page as most players regarding the poor offerings from Plarium on their Grand/Legendary tournaments.
Equally disappointing is the 'Epic Anniversary Offer'. What's more, it is so badly structured as to be a joke - see below
my 'Epic' offer is 42,000 drachma for $79.20 ... equates to 530 drachma per $.
one of my friends (8 levels below me) has their epic offer at 3300 drachmas for $4.97 ... equates to 664 drachmas per $
another friend (10 levels below me) has their epic offer at 9750 drachmas for $9.90 ... equates to 985 drachmas per $
Over the months, I have spent considerably more on the game than either of my friends and yet my 'Epic' offer is a lot poorer !!
I know it's easy to criticize, but it is more than a bit baffling that Plarium can get it so wrong ... at least accidently. I'm having the 'accidental versus cynical' debate with myself right now :)
