Not really, no :-). As with the Almighty PvP Warfare tournament ...

... it's always a matter of weighing one's options. Does it make sense to add 20k or 30k more TPs to get 4 more Catapults and a handful of Phalanx? It's always an ego boost to finish in the top of the rankings but to know if it's really worth it at the end of the day, one has to do the math. And sometimes, it's the small things that tip the scales:  I'm running low on Helios marks, therefore the next tourney that offers these (haven't seen any lately) will certainly have my attention

PS: The 75% revival discount is a nice touch, but now the question becomes: will it be followed my a 30% sale on sketches. potentially leaving one up the Styx without a paddle?

Penguin for first time i don´t agree with you :p, not always its ego boost.

sometimes you play and that tournament coincides with your coalition goals/actions or enemy ones... I am not a top player but i finished 33 or something like that, don´t remember, I did not on purpose but it happen lol 

my boss is top 8 in that list (that as usual I am extremely proud to have a leader like him, a real warrior and i am safe to say this as he does not read forum lol that`s my job), he did not get that points because of that tournament, but of reaction to our actions (he did extremely well as usual)

In our coalition we plan the actions accordingly the goals of coa, not the tournaments, of course if there is anything particular, we try to fit them in our schedule, but they don´t rule our actions as group as a team :)

About sketches, last month they were delayed, normally is around the 6-9 of the month, but due to the delay of June, i dont know what to say

I'm afraid we agree again, darn it :-).

My contention was that it will always be an ego boost to finish high in the rankings (why wouldn't it :-), but that this does not necessarily make it a good choice. I agree, if a player, or even a coalition as a whole, has set targets and one of these might be a high-score in a tournament or other ranking, then this is an absolutely legitimate reason to fight for a top-10, top-3 or even top-1 result, my point (in my above verbose post :-) was simply that ... don't just do it because it looks good :-).

Although I truly have no inkling as to when a Sketch sale is planned, my opinion as a player is that they often follow a 75% revival sale; last time half my coalition complained that they spent all their Drachmas on reviving troops and had none left to spend on sketches.We will know more in 19 hours and 2 min. :-)

my players counts the days for the sketches.... is like Christmas when i tell them 30% is comming.... :p

it reminds my nephew when little saying every five minutes on the car... are we there? lol, the same them asking when will the "oferta de esquemas" will come lol

one began to write the sequences of tournaments, not always right, but gives an idea of what may come next :)
