basic reward packs

Despite joining a COA as soon as I could and working my way up the levels I have never received a Basic Reward Pack (or any other pack) although I complete all the daily quests/tasks etc. Any thoughts please?

Have you been in the Coalition for 7 days already? If so, go to Market, then "Special" in the tabs. The Coalition Mission reward packs should be there.

Yes I've completed 47 days and been in the coa for several weeks - nothing appears in the Special tab in the market nor has done since I started - a friend who also plays had a look and can't see why I don't get even the basic pack.

Does your Coalition finish its missions? I cannot see it in the logs, and even if you do your part the entire Coalition needs to achieve the mission goal for the rewards to be distributed.

How can I tell if others are completing the missions? I get the impression that there are not many active players in this coa.

You need to look out for your Events icon:

Then scroll down until you see Coalition Missions. There is usually a scale that allows you to keep track of how the current mission is going:

You need to reach at least the first "checkpoint" to earn the Basic Pack. Once the Mission is complete, you can claim the rewards in the same Events tab.

Ans dont forget that recently plarium increased the milestones. Currently only few chosen coalitions  with heavy coiners receive the elite and legendary packs. For the rest few javas and hoplites...

PS: I find it strange that plarium didnt announce this change, and carried it out undercover...

That is simply misinformation. First, the change of milestones only applies to the biggest Coalitions. Second, you have, yourself, commented in a thread where another player posted results stating it was not as difficult as they thought to reach the new objective.

Given the size of the Coalition that it is aimed at, it should be very much doable. Without Dominion Quests it would need to be 150 members completing their Personal and Coalition Divine Quests three times per day for the maximum reward. With Dominion status it becomes faster and easier.

No offence, Dmitiri, but you are so wrong. Some guys do over 100 quests some 30, some 10..and some are not playing that day....lets say you have 130 guys like we do.......maybe10 do the max, more do the minimum or nothing....so your targets have nothing to do with real game play.

The same in raiding, some do over 1 million some a few 100k some not much..and thats the way it is every time.

So I dont know where you got your feedback from, but it wasnt me.....

How many Archons play actively in your Coalition, Hellion?

Alas, no vodka at work for us, DMT I've already passed all the feedback I gathered on the changes to Coalition Mission milestones, and I certainly will remind them there is discontent about it. But I do have to admit that with only 45 people participating in a mission out of 140 the results are quite impressive. At the same time, it is not surprising you were not able to reach the top tier reward as almost two-thirds of your Coalition did not take part.

1: You (Plarium) need to consider what a feasible level of daily activity is, and set your mission requirements from there.

There seems to be a general expectation that the majority of players, actually play this game daily. This is not the case:

* Many are busy in real life.

* The game just isn't that interesting to convince the majority to play it daily.

* While many login every day, it is often just to dump the resources and get out, and they play another day when they have more time.

Personally I think that if 1/3 of the coalition played the game that day (not just login and logout), then that is quite impressive actually.

2: Our coalition has just over 100 members, why do we have the same mission requirements as a coalition of 150 members?

3: Lastly, I don't get why Plarium would increase the requirements anyway. Why would you go and fiddle with something that isn't broken - go and fiddle with the things that are broken (please). Anyway, the coalition rewards are so small that they don't matter, but they are nice for morale and general feel-good factor. Why do something then that reduces the fun? If some coalitions find the missions too easy/boring, then add another (harder) reward pack for them.

We are fiddling with the things that are broken constantly, that is why there are regular bugfixes  And the whole reason milestones were changed is because previously Coalitions above 51 members had the same requirements to gain rewards. I am not completely certain about this, but it is not impossible that Devs will decide to refine the tiers further and separate Coalitions into smaller groups rather than put Coalitions of 101 and 150 people into the same category.

Please just pass my feedback to the developers. I am convinced they don't realise that their expectations of activity are unreasonable.

We have already notified Devs about the feedback that we received on the change. Overall, though many people dislike the increase there were a fair few (across all platforms, not just the Portal Forums) who felt it was justified to give bigger Coalitions milestones that would require more effort to reach.
