An open letter to Plarium, part II

Dear all, 


this is exactly what I was talking about, and Plarium doesn't get the hints, as seen by just closing my topic and effectively shutting down the communication on it.

I was not pointing to a limited, scoped issue as you are indicating. My intention was to get a reaction from you to us, your paying customers.

And you messed it up again! This is exactly why people are leaving this game. Not exclusively due to the bugs and lags that you cannot seem to solve.

But due to the way you are communicating. Do you really think you are that far above everyone? Your replies on the thousands of bug and issue reports indicate what you really think about us. You just don't give a sh*t. I do get that you are running a company and need to make money, but guess what: a loyal customer base needs to be cherished and taken seriously.

I don't see that any more here. And it's not because of some forum moderators, it's a general behaviour that sticks with the forum, even when the mods are replaced by others through the months.


Since I know I won't get a reasonable answer from any Plarium employee here, I don't expect anything any more. Maybe it's really time to shut down and spend my relax time somewhere else. Great work Plarium!

If you encounter any issues in the game, please submit an individual report for every bug and we will investigate it. Here is an instruction how to report bugs.

This thread is related only to bug reports. The reported case cannot be classified as a bug. I have moved your topic to Game Discussion thread.

I get the frustrations myself. Matter-of-fact I have often found myself venting my frustration here on the forum too.  I took a step back and looked at the big picture and came to a better understanding here.  Maybe it will shed light for some of you other frequent fliers of the forum.


In all, there is maybe about 25-50 members who post consistently on the forum, that number as a whole makes up an absolute fraction of the player's actively playing the game.  The point to this is that there really isn't a "mass" amount of unhappy players in game like are always claimed to be by those who are upset.

My point? These in-game issues are marginal at best and do not warrant any concern from the game developers.  Even if 200 people complained, that is a drop in the bucket to how many people actually play. The complaints are at a minimum on skype, team speak and discord as well.

Not all issues can be resolved immediately, I am afraid, but we do monitor the forum and take feedback and reports seriously. The situation with lag that was reported earlier has been forwarded to the devs, they conducted an investigation and have made changes that hopefully resolved the issue - we are currently monitoring to see a confirmation of that. 


If you take a look at the Bug Reports forum you can also see that our Support staff are working tirelessly to handle and resolve reported issues as well. Some of them may take some time as if it is an actual bug developers need to find the error in the code and correct it. Some bugs only recreate under very specific conditions and their cause is not immediately obvious. At the same time, you can see that every significant update brings some bug fixes. So I do not think it is quite fair to say we do not care even though I understand that to a frustrated player it may seem that way sometimes.
