no compensation for 2 days of unplayable game?

Dear Plarium,

Thank you for fixing these horrible game lags that every single player experienced during last two days. But... Really? No free gift after that? I would expect Plarium to have decency to give us something for our lost time, and all the mess that these lags caused. Not to mention our lost nerves.

What is cool about your other game "Vikings" is that after every, even small maintenance, you (Plarium) give players gift. And also somehow in Vikings you make this neat  little pop-ups with count-down timers that warn players about upcoming maintenance. Why can't you do same in Sparta?

On my network at work, when we are experiencing difficulties with the network-we send out a "network Info" command-it pops up on each user's screen, in addition to sending e-mail stating the network is degraded due to router/server  maintenance, programmer error, or an ID10T message for whomever is to blame or the like.


On another note, I think Aristocrat management (the new owners of Plarium) received quite a few emails this past weekend, with screen shots, and past comments regarding past management/customer service practices.


Let's hope in the coming new year, the new management team will put into place, some very basic network practices as well as customer service and respect due to its loyal customer base-paying or not.

there should be some compensation for the lag. people complained about loosing drachmas on unwanted clicks on unit production boost.

Based on my experiense plarium will give us a gift of useless stuff like resourses.

Guys, it makes sense that plarium can not inform you in advance of an unforeseen problem.

Messages are sent to you in game 30 minutes (I believe) before a maintenance. Except this problem was not planned.

At the moment I am not sure that there are any compensation gifts for these problems.

To the best of my knowledge, not every single player was affected by the latency issues so that might make the matter more difficult. Furthermore, we are still investigating the cause to make certain there is nothing that was missed in order to avoid further lag spikes.

This will probably make you laugh, but I did not have a problem during this period. It would not be normal if I was compensated for something I did not get.

i will suggest that you will be excluded if some compensation is rewarded

cant even laugh about it not that i expected anything else as a reply ffs! haha

but seriously with the amount of money some of us leave here you guys should really consider keeping this not very complicated game running smoothly as that is the least you could do

you have to big  expectations :))   ...  

We are  spendind  money   and they  can't even  make the game  work without problems ..and when something  happens wrong  because of them  all  of  us  users wich spend money we suffer  losses without compensation ..they are saying that  they were sorry..like that  it's enough for us  :))

   You are sure that will do  ?   Till  now i get only thing that we are sorry for youre  bad experience (260828 ) , like i got also  some months ago when i couldn't log in 4 days in game 

p.s. to who contact if i know i was    12   in ranking overall in an tournament one hour before to finish  and you guys still saying i wasn't   in any top to get  rewards for the overall  placement   ?  My ticket get  closed (249504)   ..even if it was impossible  that somebody  exceed me , to   left me  out of the  top 100   ...not to say top  20  with only one hours left   to finish the tournament ,

Hello!

As Dimitri said before, if you have suffered losses due to technical issues, you can contact our Support and will carefully investigate each request case by case.

Also, we've refreshed our servers yesterday. And now there should be no lag issues in the game.

I dont want to moan but  I m in danger to lost the 1st position on raid rankings because 3 times I couldnt sent my boat trick.... Thats 150 k res I lost and may I lost the 5k drhs weekly bonus from this reason... I complete understand the players for them own reason want a compensation... Your opponents can not have an advantage because of this malfunction. Otherwise it would mean that the problem comes from you. Except this is not the case, so everyone was in the same situation as you.

Do not contact the support center is your choice. So why do you support the idea of compensation ? If it was a waste of time, we would not propose it to you.

Again, Sergiy just said that you can contact the support center to recover your lost property due to this malfunction.


Compensation for everyone is not possible, plarium can not distribute rewards to players who have not been present during these problems.

Listen, I don't control what the developers and the help desk do. I did not suffer the problems because I did not fully play the game last weekend.  Now I speak as a player, I do not see why only a part of the players would be affected. If the developers are working to solve these problems, it's because it comes from their home. So general problem.   

There is no compensation because players like me who have not seen these problems do not have to be rewarded for something they have not done.  That's why you have to ask. I know it's annoying but I do not make the rules.   

The reaction time of the support center is longer or shorter because there is a lot of demand. And I understand that you do not want to contact them if it's to receive a word of excuse.   

Now I do not know what to say to you, there have been problems, many have been affected and it is normal that you want compensation for your patience and your losses for some. But it's not me, nor anybody representing plarium on the forum who make the rules.

May my message been deleted but those ones they have to read it, seems they did as I can see from them answers... people dont play on the lag time do not been involved on this topic... Silence is gold sometimes...

Skalder I lost another one boat trick due to heavy snow and black out in my province, but 1st position do not been lost yet. Seems another one question it ll be on?

What happens if two players they have the same ammount of resources on raid rankings at the end of the week? 

For example:Two players finish with the same ammount of resources on the weekly raid ranking on the top 1.

A) Both get 5000 drhs.

B) They share 4500 drhs each.

C) If no one of  A or B happens, what happens and how been decided to whom be the 1st and who the 2nd?

You would need to contact Support. Though a ticket would not be closed without a response unless it was a duplicate.

As far as I can see both tickets are being responded to, however, given the volume of requests Support has to deal with you may need to wait for further information. It is my understanding from reading the logs that you have been given direct responses to the original queries as well. I advise patience in waiting for additional information to be provided per your other requests in the tickets.

one was closed and another one  it's without response for 4 days or so  wich  it's about my losses when the game  had lag and hope that you guys will check it and  get some response form it   , will see what happens  ... anyhow   i  sent un an  message wich i explained more in details   what  my problem  it's whith the  one wich it's closed ..Best regards
