2 points:

1) can you not put link in an easier to find spot, rather than hide link.

2) Link does not work correctly.

If I have a city open in a browser and a city open in the app, the link defaults to city open in browser NOT the app city the link was initiated from.

The link simply redirects you to the forum. If you are logged into another account in your browser, that account will be opened because you are logged into it in your web browser. 

Another easy way is to use the news pop up window that you can not avoid when you play - or click on the news icon to bring the news window up - and click on the "discuss" button.
