Offense vs. Defense split for mid-game players: What is your ideal army ratio?

Hey everyone,

I’ve been refining my archon development strategy lately and wanted to get the community's take on troop ratios, especially for players around level 50–70.

Currently, I'm trying to decide on the best balance between maintaining a strong offensive force for Coalition Ops/Pants and keeping a solid defensive army to protect my Polis from unexpected raids. Some players in my Coalition suggest going 70% Def / 30% Off to stay safe and conserve resources, while others argue that heavy Offense is the only way to progress quickly in Coalition events.

Normalhis isn't exactly on topic, but I recommend checking out this website  . It has lots of fun games and bonuses that you might enjoy. Playing is simple and easy - the main thing is to believe in your luck and win.

Just to add a bit more context from my own experience so far: I’ve been running mostly a 60/40 Defense split because my Polis kept getting hit during off-peak hours whenever I accumulated too many resources. However, after joining my current Coalition, I realized my offensive contribution during Ops was way lower than it should be, especially when we're pushing higher-tier targets.

Right now, rebuilding my offensive Phalanx units after a bad wipe takes forever, which makes me hesitate to commit my full army. That’s why I’m curious if it makes more sense to just go full specialized Offense and hide troops in the Elysium/Sanctuary whenever I’m offline, or if keeping a permanent home defense force is still the way to go.

By the way, I also recommend checking out this website . It has lots of interesting new features and fun activities with bonuses and real rewards. I'm sure you'll like it.

Looking forward to reading your strategies!
