your feedback topic

I see a new topic named "your feedback"
It claims it is there to bring the players of sparta and the devs closer.

I see a very large number of people asking for the removal of existing features as well as the request for some form of information distribution that offers correct and current information.

These posts are deleted.

I write this because i represent a large group that have requests and concerns.

People that were force migrated to a server that drops them mid action and does not allow them to return - often killing mass troops they can not log in to place in their acropolis.
People looking for information about new features like guardians - and getting lies and false info from trolls or from uninformed people. Information from community managers that conflicts with information given from vip agents and people that have a long history of contributing constructively to the forums.
People that are upset or confused and wish to speak to devs or powers that be. something the "your feedback" seems to offer.

Their posts are deleted and ignored.
Anger with the game increases - and people leave sparta.

Why are you doing this ?

My requests for a form of communication with devs - the return of "online chat" or some form of verification of forum information were also deleted from "your concerns"

As were other posts i had viewed there. Some with merit that would have improved our game.

These posts had not broken any rules. contained no vulgarity, and pertained to existing features of the game, or features that were removed with the promise of being returned.

I have also been seeing a lot of complaints in other forum locations about legitimate posts that do not break forum rules of any kind being removed.

Should we assume removed requests are your way of telling us our opinions do not matter?
That these wishes and concerns are not important to palarium?

i value any response you can offer.

The "your feedback" topic is just a balm to stop the complaining from people that are angry about the lack of information given in the forums and the removal of the "online support chat" 

Issues will only be addressed once every 3 months - and they will select which questions to answer.
It is written in the description.

They do not care about your opinions or concerns - and they remove posts there on a daily basis.
(yesterday they had 12 reply's to the topic - this morning they had 4)

If your topic is not something they wish to concern themselves with - they will delete it, or at best they will leave it and just not choose it as a topic to answer in 3 months time.

it is a broken feature designed to appease people like yourself ididicus

it is pointless to try and fix it

It seems that nowhere is it indicated that this topic is a replacement for the discussion with the CMs.

Then how do we find information on topics where com managers, vip agents, and others give conflicting advice/information ?

As far as i can see - it is the ONLY replacement for online chat .
We have NOTHING else at this time.

Your post is not constructive and is deceptive in the extreme.  
It seems that nowhere did he indicate that they said it was a replacement, his opinion is that it is a poor replacement.

If i am mistaken here, please show me where the replacement is.
Or stop bothering people that post their opinions in forums - i do not believe that it is against the rules.

What is with the moderators in this forum?

I do not post very often but i do read and follow the forums to find information.
Recently I see moderators giving bad advice and false information, they are abrasive with people to a fault, and they have been deleting posts very often.

It seems to have gotten worse since they ended the online chat with the developers.

I want to say that the things i see moderators posting, and their behavior in forums is embarrassing.
I have never seen a forum run in this shoddy a fashion. 

Clean up your act.

thank you for your feedback, we DO try our best to give the best advice we can with the knowledge we have, yes we sometimes get it wrong on new features but we have to learn the same way as everyone else.

 I certainly don't mind being called out on it politely if I get something wrong and in the past when that has happened I have apologised and corrected myself,  however if someone is rude and abusive about it THAT will be the reason for any deletion, not the fact I have been shown that I was wrong about something 

If you feel something has been deleted which shouldn't have been please let me know and I will look at it and feedback as we can see deleted posts and undelete if its been removed in error (yes that happens too sometimes) 

deleting posts and especially banning people is always seen as a last resort and all actions are logged so CM's can make sure we are doing our jobs properly

Then why are there more posts deleted from this topic than are kept?

i have read them.  Most do not break any rules.
i see people trying to find information, even asking for the return of "live chat"

what part of this is cause for the removal of a post?

if I knew what posts in which thread you were talking about I would check them for you however I don't, can you be more specific please? That way I can check when I get back from cooking the family evening meal

You were told by other people in other forum rooms.
You responded to the threads there so you must know what we are talking about.

As was suggested to you in the other rooms, Start with the room at the top of the list "your feedback" which is what this topic is addressing.
More posts have been deleted there than have been kept

You were told that they had 12 posts last night, and only 4 today by someone.
i am not sure of numbers but i have been reading the posts in that room, i assure you there were many more than 4, and this morning there were only 4.
These posts had nothing wrong with them that i could see.

One was by Ididicus who started this room, it was polite and had no rules breach. but was deleted, i suspect because he asked for someone to make and enforce rules against the mods in these forums or restart/replace the "online chat"

Hello, Archons!

Let me explain the purpose of this topic and why it was created. 

1. It has nothing to do with Online Chats.

The only advantage of Online Chat is that you received almost immediate response from Community Manager. Now, even without Online Chats holding each week, you can leave your feedback on Forum either in the Game discussion, News and Announcements or WebGL threads. 

You still will receive reply to your concerns, the difference is that it won't be done so fast as with Online Chat.

2. Feedback and complains are different things.

If you're not happy about something it's not enough to come and say "I don't like this feature. You must remove it".

We all are different and if you don't like smth doesn't mean all players in the game don't like it as well. If you have a negative feedback on a feature you need to come and say " I don't like this feature because....." and list constructive arguments why you don't like this feature.

3. Please treat moderators with more respect. They're not Plarium employees, they're working on Forum because they want to spend their spare time on helping you, on replying to your questions and on sharing their experience with you.

As any person, they can't know everything and they can make mistakes. Because we all can.

hi, would not be logical to get a notice informing which rule we break (so they get deleted)  so we dont do it again, dont you think ? this is commom practise in most the forums i have been in my last 20 years 


that would save future error by lack of knowledge.

my feedback would be can the VIP agents please check their info is correct with the dev team (like we do) before giving out incorrect advice

yes mortee, i have been asking many times that internal communication in plarium department must improve, because it would save lots of problems and issues.

not only coma´s, mods, vip agents, but also marketing & devs departments etc, all should have more & open communication and knowledge so they dont confront themselves.

us mods are pretty good at it as we have a skype chat with each other and the CM's in there

 i know you do the best you can with the info you ahve available, but you also know now how different are servers, so you udnerstand now, why us the glorious valley plarium .com player, we complain as we have a much differnt game as in fb. once we both side we have realise that, it is easy to understand eachother

on the plus side, the differences are getting less now that features are being ported into .com servers, we just need to ascertain that the algorithms and calculations on both are the same :)

we still donnt have the xp on units for example, the owl, the traps, etc and probably many more than we are not aware, still many differences in game
