Not for the first time Plarium has released an update to Plarium Play that refuses to load on a Mac. The download also locks the machine until Force Quit is applied. I do so wish Plarium would sort out the gremlins before releasing an update.........Darned frustrating
Hi Virgil, I had the same problems as you this morning. I'm also on Mac
(Catalina). I managed to get out of this bad situation by deleting the
application from my Mac, and then downloading the application again and reinstalling it. Now it works. I hope this can help you...
Royaltattoo perfect explanation of how to fix it. Indeed it is often best to uninstall Plarium Play and do a "clean" installation of the new version.
If in your case this also solves your problem let us know, if the problem persists you should contact support.

Hi RoYalTaTToo, I tried your solution. Deleted on my Mac this morning and reinstalled. Sadly still opens the 'Update Screen automatically then locks at the end. My Mac is up to date I run Monterey. Reckon as Elias has suggested my only option is to contact support although as I am not now able to access the game (with a ton of defence out in my city) I may be reaching the point of no return with Sparta.
Did you download from plarium.com the latest version of Plarium Play ?
If you did, it's time to contact support.

Elias, Yes I did download from Plarium Play and I have contacted support.........awaiting reply but likely to be some time given time differences
