"production 249 P / H" is what your farms produce less what your troop eats.
Do you have Demeter level 20 and scrolls applied to consumption in your academy? If this is not the case, little troop can consume a lot

Thanks for the info, I'll keep an eye out on the numbers vs. grain. Grain title 'Production' is a bit misleading and confusing in above pic. A better term would be 'Net Production' as clarified by you after troops feed deductions, or just don't do the troop feed subtraction at all and leave it "Gross Production' and we'll be able to see right away if we're in the red on grain production.
