ZHG lvl 20-32 is a good area for armor, after that they start showing an aviation bias, although there are ways around that with how you choose to load your resources. Otherwise, x2 pvp tourney is fantastic if you use the siege mechanics (see tutorial area) effectively to minimize your losses. What is the best way to win armor units?
Doing special ops operations? Super quest?
I dont have armor building to hire.
Sir...There are numerous ways to win Armour units..The most popular way is doing S/Ds..or ZHGs..then there is the Combine achievement reward packs...The event rewards are also a good way to win Armour..Personnally I prefer the S/D methosWhat is the best way to win armor units?

The best way to win them is to take advantage of every opportunity to do so.
This is a game where more is better. If you only use 1 method, you will grow your armor more slowly than if you use all.
Go to locations (the S+D mentioned AKA ZHGs) and feed in light and heavy infantry.
Check your achievements for armor rewards, and work on those.
Participate in events and other combine activities that give armor.
In short: check everything out and see where you can get armor, then figure out how to meet the criteria.
That being said, there is nothing magical about armor. If you gain aviation units, they are also highly effective, and many top players will use those instead of armor, or in roughly equal numbers as armor. Heavy Infantry defensive units can be good against armor and aviation units (depending on the type).

I would say that's not entirely true as MCs and HQs tend to have greater aviation defense than armor. So by swapping your army to armor instead you gain an advantage.
That said, if you swap your army to infantry you will get the highest advantage at MCs and HQs (usually over a factor of 2, often a factor of 3), but will suffer at PvP since many players use inf and hvy inf. Armor is a good trade off between the two, and generally gives the same advantage, versus aviation units, at MCs and HQs as it gives when attacking single players directly.I don't have time to go into all the details now, but 1 factor is that food can become a limiting factor in growth, and aviation offers the most strength for the food consumption, while infantry offers the least.
There is a lot more discussion to be had on this topic, and I'm sorry that I don't have time now to go into more detail.Food consumption is meaningless now, especially in this game (you don't get nearly as negative as in Stormfall due to large consumption reduction). For example, you could have 150 mil in offense (all armor) and only be about 3-4k negative without ration % boost, consumption reduction or exec status items (also excluding upgrading your LZs past lvl 20). You can easily combat this by raiding.I don't have time to go into all the details now, but 1 factor is that food can become a limiting factor in growth, and aviation offers the most strength for the food consumption, while infantry offers the least.
