Commander...If you have units out on a raid,,occupation  your Total Protection will Not be activated...You can send reinforcements but not acts of aggression..You will recieve a notice that TP failed but it is possible to overlook as it is in the lower right corner of screen and only stays for about 10 sec...I always go to map after I activate TP and check my base from the map screen..As the old saying goes..an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure,,,lol
