I have checked this feature and I see that the gift is activated properly if you follow the steps. 

Could you please provide us with the more detailed information about the issue? Here is an instruction on how to report bugs.

Most probably you have 32-bit system. The application requires 64-bit version of Windows. Please join this thread for more information.
