But put in mind that only full league members (7 days from inviting) can send troops in HQ. 

Recommend having at the least thirty to 40 active full alliances members before building a HQ. It does not need to be built straight away. But as soon as you do build it get it to level 5 (milestone level) straight away. So you do not lose that early progress. Then load your HQ up with a heap of scouts. If opposing alliance members can not scout your HQ, they will be less likely to attack it.
