In other online games it is possible to trade/gift items amongst clan members &/or friends.

Firstly I do not see any method of adding a person as a friend or to be able to pm another player.

I feel that being able to transfer items not required by one player to another who is desperate for them, particularly within clans, would make it more enjoyable particularly for new players who have very little to start with.

Maybe a Clan Vault with a start limit of 50 items, which can be increased by using gems/silver, would be an option.
