My Plarium play new setup is STUCK.  It has been STUCK for 4 hours.  WHY?

For those having update related issues: please consider doing a clean uninstall and reinstall. 

I think I will let you debug your game while I play something that doesn't lock me out after an update.

Done a clean install and doesn't fix it.........

My PC actually has .NET Framework v4.8 installed (despite the error msg claim that I have 4.5.2), which is backward compatible to v4.0.  That covers Visual Studio 2010 throught 2019.  Why did all previous versions of Plarium Play work with my .NET Framework 4.8?  Is this just a version checking mistake in the installation script?  What version of Visual Studio are you using?  Can you please get someone to provide an informed answer?

Assuming you're on Windows: have you tried updating it recently? Have seen that clear it up update related issues for quite a few people.
