I am trying to rank up kael to 5 stars (currently 4 star fully ascended) but I get a message when trying to add 4 star champions that says you do not have any suitable champions. Am I missing something? I just realized all the slots are locked this may be obvious but why are they locked and how do I unlock them so I can add champions.

So assuming you haven't updated your game to patch 5.40.1:
Try using all chickens, or all champs to rank up your champion - not a mix of those.
Alternatively, you can try using another device, in the meantime.
i am on version 5.40.1 and i am using only champions also i have tried 2 other devices same issue.
well im kinda at a stopping point now, made 3 accounts tried multiple devices. Suppose ill be done with this game until the rank up bug is fixed. I understand games will always have their issues, just wish i didnt have to wait :'(
is this still not fixed?
