I  equipted Genbo the Dishonored with  Set: Resilience, Epic, four star shield (Defense 16).  I hit the Upgrade button and then the "upgrade 1 level" button.  This was the first upgrade so the Upgrade Chance: Certain.  

After hitting the "upgrad 1 level" button the game appeared to upgrade (indicator moved accross the bar) it said it was successful, but it repeatedly tried to upgrade as if it was not successful.  It repeatedly did this until I hit cancel, eating up thousands of silver with no upgrade even though it said it was sucessful (on Upgrade Chance:certain).  When I cancelled, it is not showing any upgrades.
