Hmmm. 

1) I'm not sure why this would be needed but I can look around. 

2) this is a known bug, you'll notice that your silver goes back to where it should be if you restart the game. 

3) and this is just terrible luck. Remember legendaries can only drop from blue, purple, and yellow/orange shards. I recommend only opening them on their 2x weekend. Every weekend is either a 10x event or a 2x event for one shard type.
