But it is taking our silver in the case where we set it to level up the item to +8 and instead it just keeps leveling it up way beyond this, potentially wasting money in the process.

This fcking thing is not fixed yet in oct 24.. I loose 200K gold trying to upgradfe over and over again.. 

It also keeps counting multibattles wrong.. Sometimes they do not work and still it says : Done..

Are you sure about this? If an upgrade fails it still takes silver.

My best guess is this is a misunderstanding but you can feel free to open a support ticket (for this issue and for your silver issue)

Its still robbing us of our silver and quite a bit of it. Go to do a $20,000 silver upgrade and it's costing $100,00- $120,000. I've notified support but I'm starting to see this is a on going thing. I'm on Android. It owes me s substantial amount of millions in silver it has robbed from me. I'm becoming disenchanted quickly. You need to keep track of the costs of your upgrades. I imagine this is happening to a lot of people who just aren't noticing it.

I'd need to see something video wise because this sounds like failed upgrades. 

I've left a great many reports about this issue. It is robbing us blind of silver. One upgrade at a time and track your silver, you'll see. I can no longer support or promo this game. They will not fix the issues, it's obviously been going on for several years . Don't play unless you like being robbed. The new age slot machines. Takes your money and you get robbed.

I am fairly certain what you're describing is a failed upgrade, which is apart of the game and not a bug. 

Same here I play on my phone a Motorola 5G and it keeps taking my silver when I try to upgrade they really need to fix this I've lost over a million dollars in coin

it has happened to me alot in the final stages of artifact upgrades. I tried one today on Loki to max out on artifact I had 188k silver for a 23k lvl 16 upgrade and it failed leaving me with 5,480 silver I closed the game and restarted it nothing changed. 

This just sounds like the standard instance of the artifact upgrade failing, which still takes your silver.

This  is  a  known  bug,  I  experience  it  all  the  time.  They  are  working  on  a  fix,  however  I  would  like  to  point  out  that  it's  not  actually  taking  your  silver.  Simply  restart  your  game  and  your  silver  should be  what  it  was  before  the  bug  kicked  in.
