It does shield, but the buff isn't appearing correctly. If they take damage you'll see the shield damage in blue first. Is it quite annoying however when you can't see which allies are shielded.

Also with Dutchess I seem to always have her shield on herself in clan boss. As in even if she takes damage we'll over that 10% the shield will still show and the damage applies to health

I noticed this, too. I came here to report that the A1 wasn't applying the shield. It seems like it might just not be applying the shield's visual indicators. 

The bug really makes it hard to understand what's going on, in any case!

I've noticed this issue during my Clan Boss fights post-update. This issue also reproduces in Arena, so it's safe to assume its global.

Please fix the issue or update the skill tooltip.
