Skullcrusher's passive broken in Clan Boss?

Hiya,

Since the last patch I noticed that Skullcrusher's passive does not seem to be working as before the patch when Skullcrusher gets stunned.

I am running a speedtuned comp. Before the patch, whenever Skullcrusher was targeted by CB's stun, his passive would get rid of CB's stun, his A2 would be off cooldown and then he would use it right before the two AoE attacks of the CB. After the patch, however, when Skullcrusher gets targeted and stunned, when his passive kicks in, his A2 still has a one turn cooldown and his A2 rotation breaks.

It seems that the passive is still working as it removes the stun and Skullcrusher can still take a turn, but his A2's cooldown behaves as if he has lost that turn and it remains on cooldown for one more turn.

So far I have only noticed this on UNM difficulty, I will be monitoring my NM runs to see if this happens there as well.

Can anybody else confirm this or am I going nuts? It seems a broken CA champ would be all over the forums but so far I haven't seen anything.

Yes, I can confirm this happening in Brutal as well!. Thank you for posting this, I was thinking it was always this way but couldn't figure out how I dropped from 10 million damage to struggling to get 8 million.


Exactly what you say is happening. Skull gets stunned, the passive removes the stun but the cooldown on A2 doesn't drop.  This really sucks. Not sure how this change happened.  Hope it is an easy fix.

His passive is not broken, it works like it worked before the patch.

What you mean is that his skill doesn't reduce cooldown when he gets stunned, but it has always been the same. Why doesn't it reduce the cooldown? Because at the start of the turn, the skill is on cooldown, then Skullcrusher's passive activates and reduces the duration of the stun from 1 to 0, so it expires. But the check was before the decreasing of the stun.

It sounds weird, I know, but this is how it works.

No, you’d be incorrect. The stun isn’t allowing the rotation to continue as it always has. This skill is a 3 turn cool down (when booked) and if he gets stunned it becomes a 4 turn cool down. This skill wasn’t like this prior to the patch. 

I am having the same issue, and it just started happening after recent patch.

Update: Skullcrusher is more broken than I thought or his passive is broken more than I thought. Somehow after the very first stun, instead of my 185 speed steelskull having the opportunity to cleanse my 173 speed skullcrusher, Skullcrusher goes first in my lineup. immediately removes the stun, at the very beginning of my turn (not his turn) and then does his regular attack. Then he is at the beginning of my lineup for the rest of the match. This is a problem for multiple reasons. He was tuned to set counter attack on all my characters every time the clan boss did his AOE attacks. Now, they use up one of the counter attack tickers before the boss attacks them, so they only get one counter attack. Secondly, for some reason, after he gets stunned and removes it, there is still 2 on the cooldown. I don't think this is a problem with his passive. The passive maybe working fine (maybe not), something else in the code is causing him to move to the front of the lineup for no reason. And on top of that, the cooldown of his counter attack appears to go up one on that turn instead of down one as he takes his turn.

That is incorrect, I've run hundreds of speed tuned comp and around 80% of the time if he gets stunned, he stays stunned unless cleansed before his turn otherwise all his other CD will be delayed 1 turn (which I am not sure if its supposed to happen), about 10 % of the time right after he is stunned by the boss he un-stunns himself and proceeds as normal as if cleansed. Please look into this.

Ive had this exact same problem. His passive does indeed remove the stun but his a2 does seem to be on 4 turn cooldown randomly. It's not consistent though, which is weird. I have only noticed this happening recently but its probably something broken since the patch. I thought I was going crazy, at least now I know its a real thing. Fingers crossed the devs look into it but we'll see.
