Ok, so I may or may not have put me last post on this in the wrong spot. However, since it has been removed, I'm only guessing that it was either in the wrong spot or too toxic...but in the end I know it was read. So again, just so I know it's on the right page and with no toxicity...my week 2 challenge of 60 levels in the pit was only triggered by 60 levels in the tavern. I used 300 gems for an extra slot to help with this and was duped by the mislabeled challenge. Only after spending the gems and trial and error did I figure it out. Not only is this post to inform you of the bug, but to request a refund of my gems. Replies of similar issues by others confirms that it's not isolated, so no BS from me. But in the end i  suppose, it would be cool if you did comp me for my wasted gems, but at the very least communicate and say I'm SOL and it's my loss. At least I would know instead of pulling my post and saying nothing... communication is all us players are asking for.
