I have 1 on 4 progress but can't go further even if i have upgraded more than 4 champions as you can see on following pictures.

You need to equip champs after you got a mission may this is the reason why not counted.

i am having the same problem. and i have equip my champions after i received the mission.
Before i completed Artifact challenges 7, i had 5 champions with all artifacts at lvl 16.
once started AC 8, 8.7 registered as 1/4 completed. i then upgraded three artifacts from three different sets to lvl 12 and equip them to the three champion. however AC 8.7 still registers a 1/4 completed.
please assist with how to complete this challenges

This missions not retroactives you need to equip the champs after you a got a mission.
Estou com o mesmo problema, apesar de equipar meus campeões após o início da missão...como resolver???
Detalhe: equipei dois a mais q o necessário achando q o problema seria no conjunto de artefatos e nada....perdi muito dinheiro do jogo para isso.
Stucked in 8.7, same problem.
