This event have a daily point limit. 

So if I upgrade rank to 6 I can only get 150 points out of 300

Hello, Its a 150 point per day on this event. You will get the additional point on the next day.

First of all, I call bs on the daily limit. I was at 300 points yesterday evening at 8 pm CST, and after training enough common and uncommon champions to upgrade an epic to 5 star at 10 am today, no points. My clan time reset between then.

Also, why in the world would you punish players that have jobs and real life that can play a lot at some times and intermittent at other times?

This goes hand in hand with "gifting" us with a champion that only those willing to drop $200 - $300 (right before Christmas). A champion that completely dominates the arena and ruins it for low pay and no pay players.
