Fighting clanboss

So after fighting a round in the clanboss fight you get a screen with the results right? This screen shows you how much dmg you inflicted on the boss, however once you leave this screen and check the list where everyone's dmg is recorded you'll see that your dmg from the previous screen has been reduced and not by a little either, the more your dmg the more the reduction. Why is this happening?

Btw how can one attach a screenshot here? I didn't see the option...
