I just upgraded skill to max level on revenant knight but 5.6 challenge does not worked.
Also I suggest to scan current heroes to fullfill the challenges instead of do the challenge from the beginning.
If all skills required to be maxed then please use plural form and add "all" :)
Also I have hero Warpriest with maxed skills. But I finished her skills before I opened level 5 Champions challenge.
By the way I want to suggest to scan heroes for challenge not start from beginning. i.e. in my case 5.6 should be auto completed

I think this challenge isn't retroactive, so are you sure that you used your skill tomes when it was already unlocked?
