I am entering late game. My faction war teams are bad. Should I wait for better champs or level and gear what I have now?

I don't think you are at late game yet. Right now your priority needs to be getting all four dungeons at level 20 on auto. If you're already there, the next goal is to get top chest in UNM. Faction wars is important, but the other two are moreso.

I am close on the dungeons. I can 4 key the 2nd chest in UNM.
