Give us a few combat AI options
After having defeated more Trunda teams running her A2 against my Skullcrown than I can count, I think it's safe to say that the auto AI doesn't ... always pick the best target.
I'd say just keep it simple. Have three rules you can choose from, on the champion screen:
- Default (target weakest enemy) - in my above example, Trunda will continue to be braindead and waste her A2 on a target with no health and unkillable, and thus do no spillover damage
- Maximize potential damage to a single target - this time she'll target based on affinity most likely, to maximize how much damage she can do to one target. It'd also mean she'd ignore those low-hp targets, because the potential damage is very small (to that target, since it's almost dead)
- Maximize overall potential damage - lastly, she'll prioritize the enemy with the lowest HP that can actually be killed, thus resulting in the highest potential spillover damage
I'm sure there's more rules that can be added, but these would probably suffice for most situations. It'd also help for all those lovely times where your big hitter does their awesome nuke against the guy with 1 hp, instead of letting your support finish them off.
