Any word on when the new login rewards are supposed to start?

There is no exact date for that unfortunately, but the new log in program is still scheduled for january.

So if they add faction.. Will Lydia still at 819 star reward?

I cannot see how that would be possible as a new samarai faction will have levels with its own stars added increasing the total number  of stars for completion of all faction wars

Interesting, but as I have yet to complete a single faction it really doesn't concern me.  Lol 

Me either  in the completion department.

But I am saving all my shards as  of now until that faction with its new champions get released. So I will have as many shards as possible to summon hopefully as many new champion Samari on its release

Good question, but I don't have an answer for that yet.

I could imagine Lydia will stay at 819* and rewards will be added starting from 820* or so.

Time will tell until the new factions release is coming closer.
