And so, here we are again, talking about Arena Lives. I haven't talked about Arena Lives for months now; I’ve got about 8 months of experience under my belt and I'm pushing almost 7k rating. I think I've earned my stripes despite only being level 70. So, I’ve got a few little questions to ask 

First question: Why 'Arena Lives'? If a player can just pick a team at random without actually being at their PC, or if they can set up their team down to the last detail and just walk away, letting the AI do the work on auto-pilot then why on earth is it called 'Arena Lives'? What the hell is the difference between this and the classic Arena, where you just set a defense and don't even have to be at your PC? It just feels like the same old auto-battle with a fancy new name.

And this is the kicker: If the system is programmed to feed you a bot that you can beat in seconds after losing three matches against real people meaning it’s 100% not a human and 100% controlled by AI why in the world is it called 'Arena Lives'? 

I’m going to skip over the fact that it’s actually impossible to lose rating in a so-called 'PvP Arena.' If a loss costs me 3 points, but then the system throws me a bot that gifts me 9 points after three losses, it’s impossible to de-rank. This is anything but a competitive arena.I’ll also set aside the fact that the matchmaking is absolute trash, pairing players who started days ago against long-term veterans or streamers who drop thousands of euros I’m not even going there right now.What I really want to understand is this: why on earth would you call a mode 'Live' when it isn’t? A 'Live' mode implies human timing, real-time strategy, and actual player-vs-player interaction. Calling it 'Live' when it’s nothing more than a cheap, poor copy of the Classic Arena is just ridiculous 

So, what the hell is the actual difference between Classic Arena, where you just set a team and walk away, and this 'Live' Arena? In 'Live', you make your opponent wait out the entire timer just to end up going AFK and letting the AI play the match anyway. Oh, wait I guess the only 'Live' part is the banning phase? Wow, what an innovative feature. Truly impressive.
