Yes.  That is why the Volcardiac Heart Relic is such a bonus for the Titus Hydra Comp.

My initial impression on the Pelops Path is "Same Shit, Different Day!"  The Rewards don't really feel "Anniversary Special" at all.

Unfortunately, my Deeper Dive Impression is worse than that: 

By My Count:

• 2 Void Rares: 37,600 pts
• Add The Epic: 25,750 pts

Doing 2250 in both IG & FK will get you approximately 8000 Path Points, so unless you are gonna grind a whole bunch more Dungeons Runs, that leaves:

• 2 Void Rares: 30,000 pts (6.7 Sacreds, 40 Voids, 100 Ancients, 16.7 Primals)  
• Add The Epic: 25,750 pts (5.7 Sacreds, 34.3 Voids, 85.8 Ancients, 14.3 Primals)

So, that is roughly the equivalent of grinding out a Dungeon Diver and then still needing to pull the equivalent of 12 Sacred Shards. That is more shard-intensive than a typical Fusion Summon Rush, and unfortunately, all the rewards along the way to those targets are mostly shit.  

If I was pulling 12 Sacreds (6K points) in a Summon Rush, there would be at least 2 of these 3 (Lego Book, 5* Chix, Immortal Stone) contained in the rewards, but in this Pelops Path, you can go all the way to the Epic and not pick up any rewards of much value.  

If this is the way things are gonna go, including these Path Events in Fusions is merely the next step in increasing the Resource Requirements for Fusions, while simultaneously nerfing the rewards obtained through Fusion Events....but doing it somewhat covertly by hiding the changes in a different structure.

I really don't get it sometimes.  Plarium should want all players engaged with Fusions, but escalating the resources required runs counter to that. They give away solid legos every 3-4 months now, but covertly & consistently make doing fusions and aquiring resources more difficult.

Plarium always has a few extra cards up their sleeve to surprises.  It looks like about 60k pts to get the epic.  I can get 30k with 5 sacred and 10 void.   8k with both IG and FK.  That leaves 22k to grind out and I can overlap champ training.  I have 20k gems in stock and I dont mind grinding.  There will be a 2x on champ chase and I can use ancients and greenies plus a trick that Trips taught me.  

Pelops looks like a must have champ so they have us by the short hairs.   

I am certainly doing the fusion.  I was merely elaborating on the resource escalation. 

Yeah, I think getting a crack at old relics can certainly be worth it, especially for Stars or Cat's Gaze.

As for the points...I want to say I think it comes out to 57k or so for the 2 rares + epic which ends up being just below 12 sacreds, on par with rare + epic in a normal Summon Rush. I think the arguments against this format can be dilution of overall rewards (on the summon rush side, tourney rewards for dungeons during fusions usually stink)

As for the Relics Materials, 25 Rare Materials and 75 Epic Materials are absolute crap that will result in a few more rare relics on the vast majority of accounts. Meaningless. It will take tons of extra shards beyond the rares/Epic to get any useful Relic Materials.  

This could have been an "Anniversary Celebration" opportunity if they had left the Rare Materials out entirely and started with 50/75 Epic & followed up with 50/75 Lego.  As it is, the Relic Materials are just filler taking the place of actual rewards. 

Seeing as I'm day 18 of no sacreds from DL, it's hard to be excited about anything Raid.  I've been completely locked out of going for the 1+1 or getting path pts enough.  Sucks.

I received many relic materials Lego and myth got just more epic and rare crap relics. More wasted time and money. The relic system is horrible.

1) relic system could use some upgrades, yep

2) i'm at a point in the game where for the most part i am looking for very specific things (v narrow range of champs, specific relics) whereas the vast majority of players are not. this will affect my gameplay a lot. 

you are very likely at a point in the game where you should be more focused on just the fusions themselves, some 2x and perhaps specific guaranteed champs if you have the resources (especially if spending)

3) i hope you are not mixing mythic mats with anything other than mythic mats. 

hi all, i have completed all the epics for the fusion but i made a mistake by adding 2 of the epics in my grim forest hard team. i thought i could just switch them in and out. went to fuse pelops and it said i cannot use 2 of the epics, is there any other way to change your teams other than using the squad reshuffle, i only have 280 grim coins.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. took alot of time and resources to get the 4 epics ready to fuse pelops

no promises but contact support immediately, that's you best shot. 

I think you're gonna have to use the squad reshuffles until you can release them from whatever stages they are drawn for that you haven't completed.

Nope I do 4 of the same 4myth 4lego or 4epic materials every time. 

BIG RANT INCOMING 😆 

 I am quite strong. Can almost beat dark fae DT hard and am the strongest and newest player in the clan. I have many good Legos I just lack gears for most. Talking about fusions I've bought my way through many since I started and have spent thousands on shards for x2 x10 events plus other events for path rewards. Am almost platinum lvl Arena and FW normal about over after only 4months of playing. I can 1 key nm and 2 unm with no special team made using just my toughest Legos. But this was not cheap.

 The relic and gear chance rates are as bad as the rest. Plarium is just to dang greedy. Can't even farm all day like a hard core gamer like myself likes to without having to buy energy just to play the game. Like atm I turned the game off cause I don't want to buy more energy just to farm having nothing to do without energy.. a dead game pretty much. Never seen a mmorpg like this where a person can't just farm all day. About to just be another f2p player where Plarium won't make another dime off me or just leave it all behind for a less greedy game thats more fun/entertaining. That new DragonballZ game looks promising or that Godforge game by Hailhades. Plarium greed is just pushing people away or keeps people in f2p mode. 

A game where not many pay can't stay afloat forever. Have seen many games come n go over the years because of their greed. Hope they enjoy the ride while it lasts. I see it fading away in a few more years. Most people I see on here are f2p. Hard to make money from f2p ppl and they won't ever spend if things don't change. 

Raid is a part-time game not a gamers game imo. A game for the rich or those who don't mind taking 5 years to get half-way through the game by being f2p. F2p equals being a newb/weak player for years. They can only do a few repetitive tasks everyday then run out of stuff to do and enegry/a part-time game. I can knockout our free energy and all daily quests grim and whatnot in a couple hours then game over for another day.
