Just saying how silly it is that if you get like 4 epic materials which are not super easy to come by and you put all 4 in the relic crafter you end up with a rare relic. This makes no sense. Should get an epic relic with 4 epic materials imo.
Just like with Shard Pulls, you can see the odds in the Forge before you craft, and with all types the odds are high that you will craft a lower rarity than the Materials you are using.
If it makes you feel better. I have used a total of 400 mythical relic ingredients and got 4 legendary relics. (oddly enough ALL wands of submission). For someone that doesn't pay big money into the game, those parts were VERY hard to come by. It's 20% myth and 80% legend if you use 100 myth materials. It's kinda brutal but also it prevents people running around with 500 myth relics too I suppose. I just wish that my luck was better. =(
Its a double edged sword. If the mats guranteed the same rarity relic you can be certain they would be way harder to come by. Its also likely you wouldnt be able to land anything of higher rarities.
