do "bonus" or "special" benefits persist after triggering champ dies?

an aura persists after the team lead dies

but if Packmaster dies, does Kro'khad lose the bonuses?  in other words, is Packmaster still "on the team" when dead?  if the bonuses disappear then that would mean they resume if Packmaster gets rezzed.  but if Packmaster is still "on the team" when dead, what if he was killed such that he couldn't be revived, does that change anything?

ditto for Hilvi and Tormin etc etc

and what about Ash'nar's perpetual?  he casts aoe HP Burn on his own team and it acts as a heal over time.  if he casts it and then dies, does his cast damage his allies rather than healing?

maybe I should already know this.  but some of these situations are not easy for me to test.  Ash'nar is usually last to die on my teams.  Kro'Khad pretty much always dies before Packmaster.  Don't have Tormin.

There are a few exceptions (such as Passives for Lydia and Herakletes), but as a general rule, if the Toon with the Passive is dead, then the Passive will no longer be active.  It wouldn't surprise me if there are some unwritten exceptions as well.

Examples:

  • If Siphi is dead, Rotos no longer gets the cleanse at the start of his turn and no one heals at the start of their turn
  • If Ankora is dead, you can put Crowd Control debuffs on the toon with the Highest CD
  • If Pythion is dead, you don't get the Damage Mitigation from buffs

I do not have Ashnar, so I am not sure exactly how he functions, but I would guess that his allies would take damage from HPB after he dies.

For Kro'Khad & Shy'ek, they would each get everything that is written into their individual skill(s) even if the other member of the pair is dead: Unresistable Debuffs, Protected Buffs, Kro'Khad's Scaling Attack....
