I was sitting at 24 Sacreds w/o a Lego after the Leo Path, so I attempted to pull for Predator, hoping for some luck. I hit Gold on the first Sacred, but got kicked in the teeth by a Chronicler Adelyn.
So, now I am left wondering if Predator is worth pulling a few more Sacreds for? However, w/o having Predator, this Path Event is total trash, so it feels like it'd probably be wasted shards.....
Opinions?
It isn't a 2x weekend so if you are a spender for sacreds you will be spending more in sacreds than it is to just buy the pass....b ut also remember the progressive is just 15x, 20x, 25x so you aren't guaranteed to get it next time even if you hit it.
I think during black friday Sacreds were like $15 each. So with Predator being a $40 pack that would be under 3 sacreds.
I don't see the value, personally. Can't imagine he'd be better for your account than holding for some of the Faction Unity champs.

Yeah. I was hoping to get lucky on the Mercy pull, but probably not pulling more than that.

Have not spent a dime on Raid in the last 2.5 yrs, and before that, I was pretty much just a monthly gem pack buyer with an occasional Warrior's Circle thrown in....so definitely not dropping $40 on a champ.
....however, I do have almost 40 Sacreds, so I could pull more for Predator, but probably won't.

Yeah while I've pulled a few on progressive events it is rare from what I've seen and heard from others experiences.
Since you can see even with Epics how quickly you max the progressive chance for those and still can take forever for that champion to get pulled. There are far too many champions and that progressive chance is so low. Which is normally you have a 0.02% chance base chance for a specific Epic and then 25x makes you have 0.8% chance. Not even a 1% chance to get the epic you want. The progressive system would be so much better if instead of 15x, 20x, 25x it was +15%, +20%, +25%. Then it would change from 0.02% to 15.02%, then 20.02%, then 25.02%. Still not guaranteed but will make it a lot more likely when pulling on these banners.
There are some other gatcha games I've played in the past that I like their pulling system a lot more for progressive style. Their mercy is a lot lower for their legendaries sitting at 90 pulls for guarantee and increasing chance starting around 75. If you are pulling on a banner aka our progressive style then if you don't get the champion the first summon of a legendary pulling on the banner the next time you hit a champion it is guaranteed that you get it. So at most you have to use 180 pulls but you know that you will get it. That game though doesn't have pvp and is more of an action based hero collector instead of an afk battler hero collector. Looking at their revenue numbers comparing the two for reporting revenue in 2024 they made $4.7billion and Plarium made $613million.

on one hand the odds are long.
on the other there comes a point in many older players accounts where pulling almost every affinity lego is borderline useless so you have to leverage progressives, going for meaningful champs.
Personally id skip him. Need to get lucky and go hard to get a soul for him.

Sacreds hold such little value as means to get champs. Its honestly wild. If you really really want an affinity lego you hold or buy prisms during a pool. Sacreds are fodder for paths and decks.

His issue was he was counter-attacking on *everything*, inlcuding when an enemy champ counterattacks on him. Or, as i understand it, if mikage for instance did an ally attack targeting predator, he'd counterattack 4 times, against each enemy who hit him.
I wonder if you had 2 Predators facing off in arena, they would just perpetually counter-attack each other until one dies. From the sounds of it, that's what was happening.

One man's bug fix is another man's nerf. Predator is not the first champ to get into the game without proper testing. That is why testing everything new to the game is on my QOL list.
