Yeah, I have nearly the same thing;

I'm somewhere between 10-11k total arena points, and I keep getting matched with people who are barely into gold

And a clanmate of mine is at about 6k, and is constantly being matched with players at 15k+

Same thing happened for both of us last live season too.

Start of live season is always wild since the matchmaking is based on season points.  Don't believe overall rating is factored in but it should definitely be a component. 

Absolutely disagree.  Season is exactly as it should be.  The terrible mismatching is off-season, which you don't play lol.  

Imagine having extra time to play non season LA.  You monster. 

I'm guessing the 20 minutes a day was less than your FW time 😆 I do 2 accounts at same time :)

personally they need to stop rewarding the non playing players who just tap thier phones every 10 mins to start a match.  would like to see once your time is up to place toons it randomize your choice from your collection 

Nah; what it should be is if you time out twice you automatically forfeit.

I agree, the match making is utter BS.

Also idk why the Auto-option is not active by default. So the "other" human player at least does not have to wait for all the timeouts. I'd also agree to have a penalty system, like skip a heroes turn if timed out two consecutive times for example. The auto forfeit after two consecutive timeouts would be fine with me, too.
