I still say the best and easiest fix is just change it from "reach gold 1" to something like "win 5k fights" or "earn 1m gold bars"

Something players can make *visible* progress towards even if it takes a long time.

They could expand it again.

I disagree with your take on Ramantu though, with so many random passives in arena these days, his lockout shines.  He's the answer to monkey, UDK, and so many others.

Hes viable but generally speaking I believe Karnage is just a better option.  Of course Ramantu may see more play again with less Poly everywhere. 

Did I miss something that will lead to less Polymorph being selected?  

I do not use much Polymorph myself, but I have not noticed a meaningful shift away from it in my Arena opponents.

Just got beat in Live by Polymorph last night....or maybe that was 3v3...or maybe both....yeah, probably both....   

wand being everywhere now is a big thing. 

i find myself running cage and presence more and more now as well.  

I suppose that may have an impact on selection over time. 

I think about Wand of Submission as more of a counter to active skills like WuKong & Armanz because that can really change a fight....but I guess if it reflects a Polymorph off a 6s awakened Siphi and now she is sheeped instead, that is also a game-changer. 

With the free Wand we got, I have two total.  I have them both at +12 (40% chance) and they are on Arena go-tos.   

Especially true with the Armanz A3 counter, but now with people piling them on their most polymorph'd targets along with Pinpoint, high res and even Lamasu getting more run it's weakened Polymorph quite a bit.

Don't get me wrong, Poly is still gonna be good but the things coming into the meta are making it less oppressive/less of a slam dunk option. 

As well, folks are gonna get ahold of more Wands and it's just going to be everywhere.

I thought about this today, wondering how many I'd really want. I do run a lot of Orb on champs Wand would make sense on, though.

I have 4, shockingly I've not equipped any yet lol.  Alt only had one, also idle 😀
