Way too high difficulty setting.

Ive been playing Raid for a long time and generally like the game but in my humble opinion the difficulty level in the cursed city is set way too high. I have quite a few Legendary and epic Heros with full stas and maxed out on level but even on the normal setting I cant hardly ever get past the first set of stages to get all the keys let alone even come close to beating it. I can see ti being more difficult on the hard setting but the normal setting is set way too high, Just my opinion tthats why i usually only do 2 stages a day just to meet the daily challenges.  raid needs to fix this because if i have this much trouble whats a new player going to think, Just stupid thinking on raids part. Have a great day.

I didnt bring up any exact match in a search, and it's an entirely fair point either way.

Otoh, don't you have to be level ...40? to unlock sin city?

Now, for somene who has an end-game account running an alt, you can easily be doing Sin city normal, DT normal, all dungeons normal 20 etc and so on by player level 40

But for someone *actually* new to the game, someone who hasn't done external searches and watched hours of cc vids, joined a *good clan*, etc, a TON of the content is essentially WAY beyond them at the time it's unlocked, but the game, and missions specifcially, *imply* they should be able to handle it

As a long time player cursed city normal is a complete stomp, even amius is easy *for my account*.

Just because OP says they have been ”playing for a long time” doesn't mean they have been doing it in any kind of optimal or even decent way.

This is going to be completely due to builds and lack of game knowledge. If you have enough max champions to use throughout the stages but have trouble its because your builds are bad.

I would say post your roster and a couple builds.

I walk through normal usually with just 1 or 2 champs doing the stages, same with a good chunk of hard, but it definitely has some challenges in the last area which I think is fair for the game.  If you swap around your best gear (I typically don't), you can make it through most stages, but there's still a few stages where I still just don't have the roster which always surprises me.

Amius is only tough because of the RNG...  I'll get bad RNG 20 times in a row where he dies in the wrong form and revives, so I just stopped trying after I got the myth.

Someone who's been playing an hour a week for 6 years has less time in game than someone who's played an average of 2 hours a day for the last 6 months, which is still less than I played in my first month.
