Major issue with Raid Shadow Legends and new-mid game accounts
F2P-Low spender rant just an FYI
So i have played raid off and on for about 2 years (i joined a few months after Ninja) and the game has become absolutely horrible for newer to/or mid game players like myself.
The intoduction of Armanz in Classic Arena and Tag Team and eventually Live Arena had/has become a stun lock/turn meter depletion fest with little to no way for newer to a lot of mid game accounts to counter. The only way to fight an armanz was basically stone skin sets which newer players don't get or get enough of or of good quality for a long time, you could also try and fight an Armanz by beating their speed and trying to nuke them first. Problem is they are running stone skin ON their armanz more often than not and there is absolutely nothing newer to mid game players can do about it.
Similiar to Armanz Plarium released Fabian which is arguably worse or just as bad as Armanz and for the same reasons as above, what's even worse now though is when someone has both of them on a classic arena team or 1 or multiples of them in tag team, how are newer to mid game players suppose to fight these BS champs without years of playing to collect speed/stone skin gear.
Then there is the great hall, i have ONLY almost 2 rows completed after like 2 years of constantly doing classic arena, the amount of time and effort for newer players to catch up to people who's great hall is maxed out and the advantage they have over newer players for literal years till we catch up is INSANE. A new player would have to play YEARS before they could have the same great hall as someone with it maxed and meanwhile we are fighting those same people with it maxed to max it ourself making it harder because of the stat advantage they have. The great hall stats also effect every other part of the game from classic, live, tag to hydra and chimera guild competions for more gear.
The lack of the ability to get a champ you want after a while is also very very annoying, i don't understand why there is not a mercy system where after X amount of Legendaries or Epics pulled it doesn't guarantee the next one is the one you want. I will also include this into the Souls aswell, it doesn't have to be a 6 star soul it could be a chance at 1-6 stars......
Far too many pops ups, it is literally insane when you open the game you have to close like 6 windows then whenever you go back to the bastion you get more pop ups for cash shop items, and this makes 0 sense because then when you close the game it offers you one last cash shop pop up WHICH YOU CAN'T EVEN SEE because the close window pop up covers the cash shop pop up lol.
Broadly speaking the amount of RNG on getting the armor set you want from a dungeon, then the rng it rolls the stats you want, then the RNG it rolls the sub stats you want when you enhance it ontop of the rng at ascending it is A LOT of work ontop of dealing with the other crap mentioned above.
This game is just not new to mid game player friendly and plarium can't expect a lot of people to join and want to play with the game like this who are low to mid spend and stick around.
