Seems odd to stop 100 points short... definitely worth getting top rewards imo.  Ill take it easy in live between seasons and hoard medals while pushing to 1300 every time for sure.  Live is only area I'm committing in game time to at the moment. Hydra auto. Chimera, ignoring trials and just running same team every week for now 

Agreed on ending short on points but definitely don't disagree time commitment is one of the top issues with the game.

As I said, I am at my Breaking Point on time commitment in this game. I am burnt out on the constant grind of Raid.  The last two months, there have been Sintranos stages that I could beat, but I can't bring myself to spend the time on gear swapping. I am still grinding 3v3 every week to max out all the shards and the lego book every month, but I am about ready to quit that too.

What I'm hearing you say is: You should start a brand new account that is 100% F2P and try to get Arbiter in the first 30 days

Is it weird for me to say I feel like the game has less to do during fusions?  Kinda how I'm feeling with the events right now. 

After three Seasons of LA, my finely calibrated "seat-of-the-pants-o-meter" says that there are (at the very most) only a couple thousand players that are fully engaged with LA Seasons and that most players are no more engaged with LA than they were previously.  Why? 

I started S1 ranked around 2000 on the LA General Leaderboard, and in the beginning I was fully engaged, but as detailed above, I stopped chasing the top milestones in LA Season 1 about halfway through, and just went back to chasing 5 wins per day and quitting any other fights I had left.  By the end of S1, I had fallen to a little over 4000 on the Leaderboard.

For S2 & S3, I targeted 5 wins per day for the chest, which gets me to the 3 accessories at 1025 points....so, still engaged with LA as a whole, but not fully engaged with LA Seasons.

If lots of peeps were fully engaged with Seaosns, I should be getting pushed further & further down on the General Leaderboard, but after two additional seasons and the interim weeks, my rank is basically unchanged,  and I am still sitting just a bit over 4000 (4430 today).

If Plarium is happy with this result, then it's all good, but if they are truly seeking to crack the puzzle of LA Engagement, I'd say a bit more tought is in order.   

Gosh, it's almost as though people who don't like LA don't start liking it more if you make them do a "win 3" daily quest :P

I would be shocked if the time spent in game issue isn't (heavily?) affecting Live Arena participation as well.

I'm not sure your assessing the data points accurately.   Youve clearly dropped significantly despite doing a fair amount of live.  The seasonal ranking is a tough barometer for anything with the point inflation and lots of people have very different behaviors in and out of season.  I have clanmate who did full 1300 season and goes 1-4 or 1-9 every day. Quits against bots, not just MooreBots :)

I think seasons are a huge success (no actual data to support). I just wish they shortened them. 

Plarium doesn't give a rats ass about player LA engagement.  Keeping spenders spending and converting non to spend are all that matters. 

The segment (me included) of not spending regardless is not a consideration.

Player engagement is important for all players (spend or not), but LA beyond the few battles not expected from everyone. 

For certain this is an issue.  Certainly is for me.  

And the release of Mr. Manual Titus will only make this worse. 

Its so brutal, and they continually do nothing to address it. 

Ive successfully dodged it so just have to the "Complete 1 LA Battle" which has been so good for my mental health.  Weeks of 0 LA is amazing. 

I am not talking about the Seasonal Leaderboard.  I am talking specifically about my rank on the overall (General) Leaderboard. I dropped about 2000 spots during S1 and I have not dropped since.

My rank has been static for 3 months, which means that my combination of activity and success in LA is greater than all but 4429 players, and I am NOT engaged with Seasons. My LA behavior is the same whether there is an active Season or not.  I expected to drop steadily, and since I have not, my "seat-of-the-pants-o-meter" is telling me that there are only a few thousand people that are fully engaged with LA Seasons.  You are obviously one of them.    

While I certainly agree that dollars spent is Plarium's number one metric, you are clearly off your rocker if you don't think they are heavily invested in LA Engagement.  Almost everything they have done recently (from Relics, to new advanced quests to LA Seasons ) is all to drive LA Engagaament.

The pure open season random matchmaking makes it too easy to breeze thru keys.

Another pro tip: don't do live in first 30 minutes.  More likely to get free wins via forfeits. Also avoiding people that like live and it's 1st thing they do.

Tip #2: Get a really bad matchup, wait 30 seconds or so ... the other guy is certainly queuing up right away.
