Things that can be implemented to help new players stay and progress

Recently I made a thread about changing the login progression rewards to help new players but I'm realizing that might not be enough. Watching the veterans doing their yearly F2P does show that in a matter of 2 months how far you can get BUT only with extensive knowledge of the game already AND a massive amount of hours spent playing. Not to mention using all the external tools/apps available. Also I was thinking about some additions that would actually help everyone, not just new players, so here goes:

1. More Fusions. No, not Fusion events. Fusions like Rhazin and Mikage. One-time-only Fusions that any player can do to get keystone champions that help progression. You could even have a few Rares in there like Apothecary and Coldheart that you get by fusing Uncommons. It's a system that already exists and there's a lot of options for what would help players. Venomage, Deacon, Uugo, Tagoar. How about one of each Faction to help with FW progression? 

2. Dungeon Charms. Much like the Forge Charms, have Dungeon Charms in the early login rewards (and also tiers of events) that increase the likelihood of PRIMARY stat and Slot appearing on gear that drops. So Crit Rate or Crit Damage Gloves, Speed Boots and ATK/HP/DEF % Chest. OR maybe a Charm that decreases the likelihood of Flat Stats as Primary stats. 

3. Silver. Just any way you can, help new players get Silver. I mean almost all players would like more Silver but it really slows down New Player Progression because they can't improve the gear beyond level 12 which is also locking them out of the 4th substat on the piece (unless it's Legendary). This is also VERY easy to fix: Campaign Rewards. One time rewards that give a bunch of Silver throughout the tiers.

In fact ALL Campaign Rewards need to be boosted. On Normal for 195 Stars do you know what you get? 100k silver. Hard? 200k silver. Brutal? 400k. 200-400k is what it costs to upgrade gear from level 1 to 12. ONE piece of gear... 225 Stars on Normal gets you TEN (10) Brews... seriously wtf Plarium. But yeah, add a Zero to those amounts of Silver and they'll barely be worthwhile.

4. For the love of god get rid of that daily "Gift" that is 25k Silver, 1 Rank & Rarity Charm and 7 Brews. It should include a energy refill every time. Again, all these daily "Gifts" should be re-evaluated because I don't think they've been changed in the past 3 years that I've been playing...

5. Gem Mine. The 1st level should unlock automatically once you hit like level 10 or something. I don't even think there should be a Gem Mine at this point. How about a Silver Mine? Or a Charm Mine? Regardless, this is not something that helps new players in any meaningful way and can actually hurt their accounts.

6. Get rid of Potion Keep rotations. There's a ton of missions tied to them and ascension is so minor that you don't need to gatekeep it at this point.


Of all these, the two I think would matter most is the Silver increase (for all players but especially new) and the larger selection of Fusions for players to do

The only plarium objective for new players is to get them to spend in first 30 (maybe 60 days).

If you think any of your ideas will increase conversion of new f2p to spend>0 then that idea would be in the consideration pool.

I'm curious as to how many new players are buying "starter" accounts.  I can't imagine starting as f2p from scratch now. Only way is to be at least a low spender and get on the power creep train with mythicals.

Kind of unrelated, but I always thought the limited time login champs given to everyone should be fusions for anyone that never got them.  Like ninja, rhonda, monkey, etc.

To trips point, could attempt to monetize them by making them gaurunteed pulls for any new account.  after 50 ancients, you get monkey and that unlocks the next goal...

Players have to learn to crawl before they can walk.  Expecting to start this game and be at end game level in 30-60 days is flawed.  It can be done if you are willing to spend a lot of money but you will lack the feeling of success you get from doing it the hard way.
