Yes.  Even if you earn all the other frags available, if you don't win at least two tourneys, you will need 10 frags from the Heroes Path, which will most likely involve Shards and Grinding Dungeons since there is no SR or second DD.  However, in a Path Event, the greens that you want to pull will be nerfed compared to a Summon Rush.

Its a massive requirement for a pretty mediocre fusion.  I mean I'm still gonna do it cuz i want the masks but no one has ever accused me of being the brightest bulb in the shed.

If it becomes necessary to win a tournament to complete a fusion that will kill this game.  If it becomes necessary for mid game players to spend to complete a fusion that will kill this game.  

Plarium has a poor track record of listening to the players.

It does seem a bit absurd for the DD however since it's two tiers of points and there's 115 fragments total (without Tourny wins) I'm just gonna see how Hero Path goes. If I miss the fusion, fine. Heck if they offer me the 10 frags I'm short for $20 I might just do that instead of stressing over the requirements.

We'll see how it goes but overall I don't think this fusion structure makes sense. The accounts that can get her without spending don't benefit much from her and the ones that would need to spend... probably won't since her kit is a 7/10

That's my fear honestly.  I don't think it'll ever be to the point you need to win a tournament but the increase in fusion requirements is definitely noticeable.

Fair assessment of the situation.  Im sure the path event will be Diver and Summon Rush too so it feels like it's only purpose is to muddy the waters on the requirements.

Quality of drops? I have no idea tbh.  I'm so far behind on building new champs and regearing... basically just selling old gear and refilling with unused pinpoint.  I've used less than 10 items 😆 I think odin only one I've got 4pc lol....

I mean tbh I'm kinda of the opposite opinion to yall. Fusions are a complete joke now, compared to the bad old days (hello Brogni!)

It's likely at least partially a factor of how developed my account is, but between sintranos, hydra, doom tower, and chimera, you get so many free resources that the only actual reason to miss a fusion is simply lack of actual real-world time and/or lack of interest. I can't remember the last time I had less than 20 yellows, for example, and I still have a mailbox full of at least 50 energy refills, along with about 6k energy in the bank.

I'm not seeing how this fusion is more difficult than others? 

Only have to do 1 DD and the pinpoint dungeon bonus tournament overlaps.

I am using this fusion to gear Lydia and Sulfuryion.  I am always behind with gearing champs.  

For me, this is not a matter of me being able to complete the event or not.  This is another step in the continued inflation in points required for fusion events.  

Requiring 7k energy to finsih a DD is an extreme burden on an early-game account or a mid-game account, and frag collectors have historically been the easiest fusions to complete, meaning that those accounts are the target audience. If frag collectors get pushed beyond the ability of the mid-game accounts to reasonably complete, it just makes the game that much LESS FUN (and more difficult) for new players.   

Will I be able to finish the DD?  Certainly. I don't need the toon, but she looks interesting enough to not skip.  However, I do see this as a dramatic increase in required resources for a frag collector, and I think that is a terrible precedent.

More difficult for newer f2p... not a concern for plarium anymore.  New spenders are acquisition priority.

Honestly the game as a whole is just terrible for new players. It survives on existing ones spending money. I doubt new player retention is even in their top-10 priority list.

Well, I still see ads for Raid online all the time, so they are still spending money on new player acquistion, and if you are trying that hard to acquire then logic would dictate that you also want to retain.

I see this DD points requirement as the thin edge of the wedge, most late game players are busy chucking energy into event dung and aiming for 400k points in PR CvC so doing this particular DD is automatic more or less, however when event dung is finished and it isnt PR CvC who in their right mind wud be doing this kinda points in DD, all the old dungs are now pointless for late game players except possibly spider (triple+rolls of speed on banners)

they either need to greatly reduce DD points in the future, which obviously they wont, or add SD and Shogan to dungs that give points
