Tag Arena Needs To Be Untethered From The Rest Of The Game.

I'm a pretty new player. I'm working on my Advanced Quests, and they sent me in there. My champions are 5 star at best, some of them fully ascended. My opponents? 6 stars, 5 of them red (I'm assuming this is like 11 stars? I have no idea). Single champions are owning my entire teams. Ran into this one witch who seemed like a Halloween promo champion who takes no damage, goes 6 times by herself to my one per champion, and kills everyone. This is one of the more fair matchups.

This area of the game should be called 'The Whale Pool' or 'Ultra-Veteran Training' rather than Tag Arena. People either have been playing since the game's inception, or they're funneling so much money into the game they probably own shares. And contrary to this making me want to invest in the game myself to catch up, all fighting in there has done is make me want to quit, as I'm forced to see just how far behind I am, and how impossible it would be for me to ever catch up short of suddenly becoming a billionaire and buying the company that owns the game.

There should be no need for anyone who hasn't at LEAST gotten one red star on a champion to go into that part of the game, as other than someone trolling by intentionally putting a weak champion in one of the rotations, winning isn't actually possible and the complete destruction of my enjoyment after feeling like I'm making some degree of progress is very real.

Why put something this demoralizing into the game, then force new players through it, almost guaranteeing you'll lose a bunch of them purely from the frustration?

I dislike all of the arenas, classic, tag team & live, but there are ways to deal with them:

1) Don't participate. It is a fact that players are "directed there" prematurely and you wil not enjoy your time there (or even find it challenging) if you don't have adequate champions decently equipped.

If you find yourself in that category, just don't participate, take the loss on that daily or advanced quest and do something else, preferrably related to improving your champs or gear. I despise this option, but it is better than the demoralization of repeated trouncings.

2) Do some homework on the area you are having shortcomings, there may be mitigating strategies you can use to at least complete the daily/ advanced quests. Lots of content creators have videos or webpages dedicated to strategies and you may find one applicable to your available champions.

3) Set WEAK defense teams that will get beat down while you are offline. This will keep you in lower tiers and often will help you squeak by and complete the quests.

4) Pick and choose your battles. Attack only teams with lower power than your teams, leave the higher lvl teams alone, go do something else and come back later for a free refresh of opponents, rinse, lather, repeat until quests are fulfilled.

Clan Boss and Arenas are intentionally difficult to provide a challenge to experienced players, but have amazing rewards you want to achieve, just don't expect to be competitive early game or to achieve those rewards without time investment and strategy.

The only issue with 3x3 arena is the tier limitations.. I'm not saying there shouldn't be tier max capacity, but the issue is the game continues to grow adding new players & accounts everyday but the number for each tier limitations stays the same.. I'm not sure if it's ever changed to adjust for the influx of accounts.. with the number of people who complain about this area of content in particular,

I'm completely dumbfounded how there isn't anyone at Plarium who hasn't said "Hey, this simple change will possibly make 90% of people who have issues with this content we haven't touched since day 1, shut up"

They did increase the 3v3 tier sizes once, but that was at least 2 yrs ago.  It baffles the imagination that no one at Plarium understands that 3v3 has become a problem that needs to be addressed.

We have another QoL update just announced today and no mention whatsoever of 3v3, so all the peeps hoping for an improvement there will just have to wait/hope some more.

I wanna see the devs compete with the CC's to do an f2p challenge where they start new accounts and see how long it takes to get to gold 1 Tag

None of them will reach it in the first year...

I'm F2Play, but I'm also an adult who realizes F2Play doesn't pay the devs.

Plarium catches a lot of grief for not giving F2players more freebies or not coddling them, but they really don't get much credit for the many things they give F2players or putting in a F2Play option.

They don't have to do a thing for F2players, but they do, in part to draw us in to make a purchase here or there, in part to give the whales who DO pay the bills a larger playerbase to compete against.

But it's pathetic to see fellow F2Players who CHOOSE this "hard mode" whining about how hard it is. Yeah, F2Players have to work harder, smarter and longer to make Gold arena, finish Doom Tower or make more than minimums in the Cursed City.

But we get to join clans, compete for newly released champs and laud our sucesses right along side of the Whales & Krakens. Would it hurt us to give thanks occasionally, or whine less when they do something for the player actually paying their bills?

Tag Arena definitely feels discouraging for newer players, especially with the power imbalance between your champions and the opponents. It would make more sense if newer players were kept out of such high-level content until they’re better prepared. It's a shame that this experience is pushing players away rather than making the game more enjoyable. My younger brother had trouble with his research paper, so I suggested Academized, which offers a great research paper writing service here https://academized.com/research-paper-writing-service available. The paper was well-researched, properly cited, and delivered on time. His professor was really impressed! Highly recommended for students struggling with research papers!
