Tag Arena Needs To Be Untethered From The Rest Of The Game.
I'm a pretty new player. I'm working on my Advanced Quests, and they sent me in there. My champions are 5 star at best, some of them fully ascended. My opponents? 6 stars, 5 of them red (I'm assuming this is like 11 stars? I have no idea). Single champions are owning my entire teams. Ran into this one witch who seemed like a Halloween promo champion who takes no damage, goes 6 times by herself to my one per champion, and kills everyone. This is one of the more fair matchups.
This area of the game should be called 'The Whale Pool' or 'Ultra-Veteran Training' rather than Tag Arena. People either have been playing since the game's inception, or they're funneling so much money into the game they probably own shares. And contrary to this making me want to invest in the game myself to catch up, all fighting in there has done is make me want to quit, as I'm forced to see just how far behind I am, and how impossible it would be for me to ever catch up short of suddenly becoming a billionaire and buying the company that owns the game.
There should be no need for anyone who hasn't at LEAST gotten one red star on a champion to go into that part of the game, as other than someone trolling by intentionally putting a weak champion in one of the rotations, winning isn't actually possible and the complete destruction of my enjoyment after feeling like I'm making some degree of progress is very real.
Why put something this demoralizing into the game, then force new players through it, almost guaranteeing you'll lose a bunch of them purely from the frustration?
