Was just doing 20 myself. Odin + Conan the Referrarian, a couple runs per minute.

I take from your example and don't do that

I'm doing 25 with yakarl, armanz, Thor, and 2x fatman, seeks 100%.

I was running Normal 10 cuz I'm a pleb.

Elder skarg on 20

I was doing this and got annoyed with how long runs were taking due to not being able to do a optimal burn setup with him+other barbs.

Got impatient and just soloed normal 10 with thor @ like 12 seconds per run and got the prism farm over with.

edit also I found 25 to be quicker for skarg burn than 20.

I am running a Skarg Burn Team on Normal 20 (Roric, Skarg, Scyl, Ursuga & Farakin), but the runs are slower than I like at 2:00 - 2:30.  

The weak hits on 20 are a problem.  good runs were fast, bad runs were really slow...

Skarg was my first AoE Burner, and my very first Spider XP Farm team was Stag Knight, Monster & Skarg with two food toons.  I do not remember weak hits preventing the HPB from being placed.  Based on the skill description, I'd assume that the debuff gets placed as long as at least one hit was not weak, but I had way too many failures to place the debuff than expected on the runs for this tourney.  Did something change w/Skarg?

Done with it now though.  Moving on to Odin L30.

More likely is that your target just didn't have the requisite number of debuffs to cause the hpburn to be placed.

Just ran Thor & food on normal 10 to be done with it. Not reaaaaaaaaaal thrilled about it but it's done, at least. 

I threw some gear on Aina (barb epic with weaken and def down) and used her for the first time as a partner for Thor.

Skarg always targets Scavag with his A2 in Spider, and his AI open with his A3, so by the time he uses the A2, there are debuffs on Scavag.  I watched mutliple runs where the HPB did not get placed on the spiderlings.

Same, I used Skarg many moons ago on S20 and elsewhere and don't remember weak hits being a problem ever... if the buff/debuff cnt>=3 then burn applied.  So either something changed or I misrember the mechanics.  WIth kantra and Fatty always combining for 3+ buffs it should have been 100%... I have also moved on to Odin so we may never know :)

You are correct. As previously stated, he was my very first AoE Burner. Skarg was also my first Force Lego, so I used him in Arena for a good long while as well. I am very familiar with his mechanics.  

With the team I was using (Roric, Skarg, Scyl, Ursuga & Farakin), there were always more thn 3 debuffs on Skavag before the A2 was dropped, and just like Trips, I do not remeber there being failures to place the HPB back in the day.  Same thing in Arena.  He placed the AoE Burn every time, as long as there were 3 or more buffs/debuff.     

problem i ran into on stage 20 with similar team was fatman weak hitting and not getting the debuffs stacked. Why 25 was actually faster.
