Honestly I'm not sure, your damage total was higher and your healing was higher so it can't be based on that. Were all 4 of your champs still alive and were all 4 of their's alive?

I think my only question is, why did you continue to fight that cancer for 20 minutes and not just concede after 5 min to move on? Legitimately asking, since you seem to be in a much higher bracket being in the 4k range

If you fight to a draw, both teams lose points.  That is why the tanky stall defense and slow-play in Live Arena are even a thing.  Since you are gonna lose points if you can't actually win, lots of peeps quit and move on to the next fight, which rewards the players who did the slow play or the uber tanky defense and threw it on auto.

How have you made it to G3 Live w/o knowing this already?

All my champs were alive. 

Why did I continue to fight? I put it on auto. I got carried away talking to someone and when I looked back I found this outcome. Maybe I'm blind but I have tried to look it up and its not clear about the points in a draw situation. It only states we dont get any awards.

I Understand that tatic you're mentioning. But what got my attention to begin with is, whatever happend should have been the same outcome for both teams. Why didnt the the other team lose points too?

the other team did lose points. it isn't shown because the post battle screen only displays your change in score, not your opponent's.

The other team also lost points. I am not sure where you are looking, but Plarium has stated in various places that fighting to a draw in Live Arena results in a loss for both players.

Hitting the time limit is fighting to a draw.
