Neither Toragi nor Elhain are Spirit champs.  Both of those are magic.

Spirit Champs have the Green Icon.

I've specifically played 20 Classic Arenas with either Toragi or Elhain on my store team, yet the progress isn’t updating. It’s pretty frustrating! 

If you look at the posts right above and below the one you quoted you'd see that neither Toragi nor Elhain are spirit champs.

Well, on top of that, there isn't even an active Forge Pass right now, so it makes one wonder what we are even talking about?

If you're doing dailys the game gives you plenty of points to finish the pass. I don't go out of my way too much to do weekly quests; some you complete just playing normally, and some don't require much effort to do so I will do those. But like, "get 75 boots in campaign," I'm only gonna do that if there is a champ training event for a fusion I am participating in https://omegle.onl/  .  

So yeah you're fine to not do them all if it is gonna put any strain on your resources, it's no problem at all.
