and clearly there is no "undo" facility allowinhg me to reclaim the ancient shards since none of the summoned characters are particularly impressive

I can only say....my default setting is stil mystery shards...

I'm sure the mods will be happy to pass along our request for an undo button on shards.  I support this request!

 my default setting is also mystery however twice  I had 10+ ancient shards and the default setting changed. the first time I assumed I had done something but the second time...

I already had close to 90 characters and I was in the process of streaminling them down to maybe 40. these unwanted 10 are nothing more tha n nuisance value particularly because they add zero value to my account

unless you're claiming the PC version has an undo feature...

agreed, when you deliberately make a choice to summon using a particular shard type what  you receive is down to luck. However my complaint revolves around changing the default behavior if I have coillected 10+ ancient shards

I was joking around with trips.

anyway, it definitely stinks when you click the wrong shard - helps to double check before you click summon. you can contact support if you'd like but I'm doubtful they're going to do anything.

Probably happend when you clicked on the shards above the portal in the bastion view. Then you end up on the shard type you selected. That´s why I always click on the portal and then choose the shards I want to use.

But "a button to reverse the outcome" - yeah. I could do something about this "heavy love" of the generator with the telerian league and dwarfs. You need any of those? How many do you want? :)

I'm still unsure what happened. I recall I was summoning food-champs when suddenly I notced all the summoned champs were rank 3*. Confused, I checked the summons page and noticed my ancient shards had reduced by 10. Anyway I always select myster shards
