You need to change your Game Settings. You're currently viewing Points Required using the Metric System. Switch the setting to Imperial and you'll see it actually only costs 6000 Points

Well that's after the last shard you can get, but I went for it because there's a Summon Rush with another 10 shards, and hey it's 20 points for that. But no further. On to Dragon.
