Thanks, I ask this because my Royal Guard has 3K ATK, 84% C.Rate, 200 C.DMG.  And when I run him with Archmage Helmut (+30% C.Rate) he seems to hit like a wet noodle.  Even if I turn off his A3.

Max HP damage is driven by *their* max HP, remember. So you'll see big numbers on bosses (excluding CB where the damage is capped), but on waves you won't see anything special. Also remember that DEF Down and Weaken will boost the damage considerably. Lastly, 200% CDMG is somewhat on the low side. Generally you should be at least 250, and many times as high as 300, since you really don't care about any other stats.
